Work experience week is over: Bring on Panic!
FINALLY my work experience at the Tourist Information Centre is over. I think I'll miss it a little. I prefer working to being at school; when i worked i was treated like an adult- i had more freedom to do things than at school. I was seen as equal, which i quite liked.

The week's been slightly crazy. My first day, Monday went on forever. Tuesday wasn't so bad, i got to go on a beer tour with Sarah. I saw how beer was made. I'm not sure why. Unfortunately i wasn't allowed to sample any. Not that i care much, i don't really drink.

Yesterday i toured this museum with this woman called Jill. She's great. I didn't go anywhere today. I answered a few phone calls, and one of them was from a lady who asked me to find her somewhere to stay which would let her bring guinea pigs with her. (0_o) If your wondering whether this was successful or not, I'm still not particularly sure - i found a B&B which allowed dogs and told her to hope for the best.

A few kids around my age from a learning disabilities or something school came in and one of them starting yelling at me and demanding why one of our touch screens didn't work. (I had to explain to him it was just a TV).

Something that really annoyed me today, was when i was putting the signs outside the front this morning and these gross builder guys who were constructing something on the building next to the centre kept yelling things to me, like 'ELLO' BEAUTIFUL!' and laughing with each other afterwards when i scowled at them, as if it was the funniest thing in the world. I mean I'm 15 for God's sake. The whole street could hear, i just hate how obnoxious they are because they think they can get away with it.
Do you think builders can be fired for that sort of thing? I guess it's harassment in a way. It happens all the time to me, i swear it's because I'm blond.

Anyway so, the weekend is here! Thank God. I can't wait until Monday, I'm going to my first ever Panic at the disco concert, 7.00 pm, Southampton. In fact it's my first ever proper concert, ever.
